Get Paid Your Way, Property by Property

Connect your own payment account, or use Agoo's. Guests pay by MoMo, card or from abroad, and you're paid out by MoMo or to your bank.

Two Ways to Take Payment

Your Own Account, or Agoo's

Connect your own Paystack or Hubtel account and guests pay you directly; eligible businesses abroad can use Stripe or PayPal. Or use Agoo's payment account, set for each property: useful for small or new hosts, with reserves and payout timing agreed up front. It's the same rule as Agoo Events.

  • Chosen per property, for new bookings
  • Bookings keep the account they were paid through
  • Agoo Travel supports every booking either way

What Guests See

MoMo, Cards and Guests From Abroad

Guests in Ghana pay by MTN MoMo, Telecel Cash, AirtelTigo Money or card, always in cedis. Keep your rate card in US dollars if you like: guests in Ghana see the cedi price, converted daily and locked when they book. Guests abroad can pay by card or PayPal in their own currency.

  • Only the methods your account supports are offered
  • A MoMo screenshot never counts as paid
  • Payments verified before any booking is confirmed

Payouts

By MoMo or to Your Bank

See what's expected, what's held and why, and each transfer with its state and date. Statements and exports are ready for your accountant, and changing where you're paid is protected by your passkey and a cooling-off period.

  • MoMo wallet or bank account
  • Held amounts shown with their reason and release date
  • Every difference lands in a queue with an owner

Changing where you're paid

Needs your passkey, tells the owner separately, and waits a cooling-off period. Support can never change it for you.

Questions

Good to Know

Can I keep my rates in US dollars?

Yes. Keep your rate card in US dollars if you like. Agoo Travel shows guests in Ghana the cedi price, converted daily and locked when they book, and they pay in cedis. Guests abroad paying by card or PayPal can pay in their own currency.

Whose account does the money go to?

On your own account, guests pay you directly and you deal with your provider. On Agoo's, Agoo collects for you and pays you out on the agreed schedule. Each booking shows which, and keeps it for its refunds.

What happens with refunds?

A refund goes back the way the guest paid wherever possible, from the account the booking was paid through. You and the guest both see each stage with its date.

Can someone change where I'm paid?

Only you, with your passkey. The owner is told separately, and the change waits a cooling-off period before it applies. Agoo support can never change it for you.
